Together we unleash employee engagement, productivity & performance via wellbeing

“Successful well-being programmes have a 6:1 return on investment.”

Stress & mental health are the issues of our time

The Problem

1 in 2 employees are at risk of burnout. 1 in 5 people have anxiety. 1 in 2 people will have a mental health issue in there lives. These stats are much higher in some regions.

The Solution

Are likely to experience major depression in their lifetime

The solution lies in teaching the body and mind to recalibrate after stressful periods. Most people live in a perpetual state of stress where their nervous system is in the sympathetic ‘fight or flight’ state 70% of the time. Without reprieve from this state by shifting back to the para-sympathetic ‘rest and digest’ nervous system, we are at risk of burnout, chronic illness, poor mental health and lower productivity and performance.

The Approach

The Free Minds Wellbeing and Mental Fitness programme and the executive and performance coaching sessions are structured around four key components to reinstate health and wellbeing and catalyse change.

These are:

1. Resetting the nervous system to enable a sense of calm, reduce overwhelm and optimise metabolic function for good health;

2. Optimising energy;

3. Building mental fitness through identifying limiting thoughts, beliefs and habits and building new ones;

4. Tools for creating balance in our lives despite the busy schedule;

The foundational principles and practices underpinning the coaching and education programmes are based on the principles underpinning Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Neuroscience, Neurogenesis, and basic applied physiology (how we regulate stress and arrive at homeostasis through conditioning the autonomic nervous system).

The practical tools in the course help to manage stress are evidence based and have a direct and immediate impact on our physiology. Research from the HeartMath institute shows that when the communication between the heart and brain are harmonised using simple breathing practices for example, IPG levels go up increasing our immunity and the efficiency of cellular functions and optimising our health. These tools also help us to gain calm, focus and clarity in our minds and enhance our circulation and energy. A greater understanding of how the mind works helps in understanding our thoughts, beliefs and programming, empowering us to choose what to focus on to enhance cognitive energy, and also minimise the impacts of stress including overwhelm, anxiety, a lack of focus and fatigue.

Free Minds Corporate Well-being Programme

8 week well-being + mental fitness programme, $8,999 NZD in person (Auckland) / $7,999 NZD online

Work place training on how to manage stress, optimise health, well-being and energy, cultivate mental fitness, and establish a performance mindset.

Our ability to manage stress and bring our body back to equilibrium is the number one indicator to our health and well-being. Stress impacts our metabolic functions, sleep, digestion, hormones and energy levels. Our focus and performance is reliant on our ability to find clarity and calm in the midst of chaos and underpressure. This is the training to overcome the biggest issue of our time (stress) and mitigate associated well-being issues such as burnout.

The programme builds on Sommer Lowe’s approach to holistic health and well-being, focusing on a recalibration of both the mind and body. It therefore includes education on how the mind works using neuroscience and NLP principles as a foundation and basic applied physiology to equip employees to manage their stress effectively as a key input to health and longevity. This holistic approach is effective in reducing the risk of burnout, and mental and physical health issues due to chronic stress and an overly active sympathetic nervous system.

The course is both educational and practical, including tools and practices for managing stress, overthinking, overwhelm, emotions, and anxiety. For exceptional and lasting results, employees will be encouraged to adopt the practices and tools into their everyday lives.
